My Story: This product has a total recycled content of 99% based on total item weight. It also has full RCS certification which ensures a completely certified supply chain of the recycled materials. A functional item for work or home, or to keep your laptop in a comfortable position while travelling. The total CO2 life cycle assessment* of this product, per unit, is 1.4kg. This comprises 1195g in Materials and Production, 13g in packaging, 80g in transportation and 105g for End of Life.
*This LCA assessment covers all GHG-emissions generated by a product throughout its entire life-cycle; from the extraction of raw materials to the end-of-life treatment/disposal. The calculations are based on a carbon footprint (CFP) calculation tool. The methodology is in conformity with the principles of ISO 14067:2018, verified and critically reviewed, in compliance with ISO 14071:2014, by the Bureau Veritas.

End of Life: As a base material, Aluminium does not lose its characteristics in the recycling process and can be recycled endlessly. If the user wishes to dispose of the product the TPU strips could be removed from the base legs and placed in plastic recycling. The aluminium frame can then be given to a metals recycling service.
