My Story: Sourced in the UK and packaging in full recyclable materials. We use a specific mailing carton for this item to ensure no inflatable bags (plastic) or Styrofoam chips are required in the packing. Paper tape is also used. Card is on recycled stock. Freight is with Royal Mail, who based on published figures have the lowest carbon footprint for UK residential delivery services.

End of Life: All components of the product are fully recyclable.

My Story: Part of a range of UK made products that are produced using 100% recycled plastics, then with the addition of a biodegradable additive that speeds up the natural biodegradable process of plastic. The material (polymer and additive) has been tested to ISO 15985 and has ASTM B5511 certification. The result is a polymer that breaks down and leaves no micro-plastics. 

End of Life: The trolley coin section of this item will naturally biodegrade after a period of time. The polymers will be digested and break down leaving no micro-plastics. The metal clip and keyring are made from plated steel and can be placed into metal recycling schemes.

My Story: This product has a total recycled content of 99% based on total item weight. It also has full RCS certification which ensures a completely certified supply chain of the recycled materials. A functional item for work or home, or to keep your laptop in a comfortable position while travelling. The total CO2 life cycle assessment* of this product, per unit, is 1.4kg. This comprises 1195g in Materials and Production, 13g in packaging, 80g in transportation and 105g for End of Life.

My Story: Bottle with marks to give a guide on what level of water you should be consuming each day, giving the user a reason to use the bottle over and over again. Made from PET plastic which is easily recycled. There is no silicone seal/band on this product as the lid has a second rim to seal tight against the screw top. This means the entire bottle and lid are able to be recycled without the need to remove a silicone ring.

End of Life: Bottle and Lid can be placed into standard plastic recycling (PET). The bag the unit is supplied in can be used for home composting.

My Story: Bamboo is a fast growing plant (actually a Grass!) with the strength and workability specifications of timber. It grows to maturity in 5 years, versus 30 – 120 years for other natural timbers. After a bamboo plant is harvested, four to seven new plants will grow from its roots. No replanting necessary.

My Story: Plantable paper is a biodegradable eco-paper made with post-consumer and post-industrial paper waste that is embedded with seeds. When the paper cover is planted in a pot of soil, the seeds grow and the paper composts away. All that is left behind is flowers, herbs or vegetables, and no waste.

End of Life: When the notebook is filled and ready to dispose of, remove pages and recycle in the paper recycling bin. The cover can then be planted:

1. Cover it under a very thin dusting of soil. (Only 1-2cm deep)
2. Keep it moist during germination and ensure there is good drainage. Don’t let the water pool.
3. Make sure it gets plenty of sunlight! Wildflowers love the sun.

My Story: Made from wheat straw which is the stalk left over after wheat grains are harvested. Traditionally, it has been treated as a waste. In some countries, farmers burn it, contributing to air pollution and creating a public health hazard. When mixed with other materials, it becomes an amazing plastic substitute and helps against the impacts of plastic waste. Wheat straw plastic can decompose in industrial composting sites within 6-9 months or up to a maximum of 2 years (depending on manufacturer).

End Of Life: At end of product life the user can separate the card from the internal components, placing the metal pin, cable and adaptors with an electronics (E-Waste) recycling service. The Card itself can be recycled, or placed with industrial composting services.

My Story: EU manufactured earthenware. Ceramics do use intense levels of energy in their manufacture (Kilns) however they are produced in large batches so this equates to around 230g of carbon per unit. The finished mug can then be used indefinitely, potentially up to final point of breakage (which would be due to accident rather than material degradation). The mug is machine or hand washable and uses a non-toxic glaze.

End of Life: Ceramic Mugs have a huge range of options when it comes to being repurposed; small plant pots, candle holder, toothbrush or pen holder, or broken up and used as drainage material for larger pot plants. Should the mug be in state that can not be repurposed these can be taken to recycling centres. Here they can be crushed and used for drainage or filler purposes, or unfortunately placed into landfill.

My Story: Made from r-PET, which is Recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate plastic). The recycled material (PET) is taken from plastic bottles reclaimed from landfill. This process allows a new material which can be created into a fabric, without exhausting natural resources

End of Life: Should the lanyard reach end of life or become damaged beyond usable condition, then material could be creatively repurposed or placed into a polyester recycling scheme. The Safety Break (PET) and Trigger Clip (Steel) could be separated from the fabric lanyard and also placed into plastic/metal recycling schemes.

My Story: Easy to clean, sturdy and built for ongoing use, therefore helping to reduce the use of single use water bottles. Can hold hot or cold liquids and so has a great use for all manner of drinks. Made from 304 Grade stainless steel. Steel is the most recyclable material on earth, by weight. It can continually be recycled while maintaining its strength and core properties. Recycling steel involves remelting the metal in an electric arc furnace or a simple oxygen furnace, and this recycling process accounts for about 40% of the total amount of steel produced globally.  

End of Life: The main bottle/vessel section can be recycled as a metal (stainless steel). The Lid would require the silicone seal to be (easily) removed and placed in general waste. The remaining lid component can then also be recycled (separated as plastic and steel). The Cork base can be separated at point of recycling and will naturally biodegrade.

My Story: This product is 100% recyclable and made from part-recycled aluminium. The Cork is a natural material which is degradable or can easily be repurposed. The content itself comprises of soil and seeds, all of which can be planted within the Aluminium container or directly into a garden or other plant pot. A unique gift that requires input from the recipient during the product life and beyond.  

End of Life: The Soil and seeds are biodegradable and so can be simply transferred outdoors or as compost for other plants. The aluminium container can be recycled: Aluminium does not lose its characteristics in the recycling process and can be recycled endlessly. The Cork lid can be repurposed (cork floats!) or will biodegrade naturally. Cork will break down without releasing toxins into the environment. It is a highly sustainable and self-regenerative material that does not contribute to deforestation.

My Story: Flag material is made from Display rated Polyester and printed with water based inks. The Pole set is fibreglass with Steel connectors. The carry bag is made from Nylon.

End of Life: The flag material is recyclable so could be either creatively repurposed (large paint matt, or temporary seat cover) or placed into clothing/fabric recycling services. The Carry bag too can be placed into fabric recycling. Fibreglass (Fibre-reinforced plastic or FRP) requires specific recycling processes (Mechanical or Thermal) to reduce the chance of this material ending up in landfill. For this reason we would recommend asking your local council or waste services department for options with this material.

My Story: A functional bag produced using polyester fabric. This is recyclable and able to then be made into other polypropylene products (fabrics, sheet materials, containers etc). The bag can be used for a huge range of tasks both on and away from the golf course. It can be washed and repurposed as often as required. 

End of Life: Should this bag no longer find a purpose or becomes damaged and unfixable it can be recycled by simply removing the drawstring cord and placed into clothing or fabric recycling stations. The Cord is made from nylon which though recyclable in nature is not currently accepted in recycling stations in the UK. The Plastic Toggle and clip can be placed into standard Plastics recycling. Both the bag material and the cord could also be repurposed by the user.

My Story: Bamboo is a fast growing plant (actually a Grass!) with the strength and workability specifications of timber. It grows to maturity in 5 years, versus 30 – 120 years for other natural timbers. After a bamboo plant is harvested, four to seven new plants will grow from its roots. No replanting necessary. 

End of Life: This item can be recycled or composted. Always check with your local recycling authority before placing your bamboo products in the recycling bin. As a product that may very find itself laying (broken) in the ground, away from the green... the bamboo will safely, naturally decompose.

My Story: The body and four (4) connector components of this multi-cable are made from BioSphere® biodegradable plastic. This is a certified bio-degradation compound in the plastic, that once in contact with high solids environments (under the soil and landfills) will biodegrade and return to nature within 3-5 years. The flexible legs (cables) are made from Dupont Tyvek, which is a water and tear resistant paper that is Food Grade and full recyclable.

End Of Life: At end of product life the user will need to take this product to an E-Waste recycling service/centre. The components would then be separated, with the casing and legs processed for further recycling.

My Story: Produced in Italy using a PU material for the cover, with internal sheets made from FSC certified paper. The closure band, pen loop and page ribbon are all glued into the notebook and made using rPET (recycled nylon and polyester) as well as Elastane (not currently recyclable). 

End of Life: Once this product has been filled up and is no longer usable, the pages can be recycled easily (paper). The user needs to remove the Cover, Elastic closure band and pen loop as well as the ribbon marker, by simply pulling away from the notebooks spine. These would need to be disposed of into normal waste, or could be repurposed by the user.

My Story: A simple and functional notebook created using uncoated kraft card for the cover and internal sheets of recycled paper which has been FSC certified; both of which can be recycled. The closure band, pen loop and page ribbon are all glued into the notebook and made using rPET (recycled nylon and polyester) as well as Elastane (not currently recyclable). Branded here in the UK using a process of laser engraving, rather than ink. 

End of Life: Once this product has been filled up and is no longer usable, the cover and pages can both be recycled easily (paper and cardboard). The user needs to remove the Elastic closure band and pen loop as well as the ribbon marker, by simply pulling away from the notebooks spine. These would need to be disposed of into normal waste, or could be repurposed by the user.

Item: This unique Eco ballpoint pen consists of at least 90% cellulose acetate, a renewable, bio-based material. 

Equipped with a replaceable quality Jogger soft refill with Black ink, enough to write for over 1400 metres. 

White smooth finish with Push Button.

My Story: The composition of Barrel, Clip and Push Button are all made from at least 90% cellulose acetate, a renewable and biodegradable material. Barrel and clip colour may vary slightly due to the nature of the material. Supplied with a refill that is rated for over 1400m so will keep going for months of use. Produced the EU, this is a sturdy and fully recyclable item. 

End of Life: When this pen reaches an unusable stage, the user can unscrew the Clip/Barrel section and remove the Metal Spring and Ink Refill. Then, use the Ink Refill as a tool to pop out the second spring mechanism in the Clip section, along with the Button and clear Spring Clasp. The four (4) white components can then be placed into standard plastics recycling, the two (2) Springs into Metals recycling - and the Ink Refill into standard waste (you could also cut this to place the used tube section into plastics, as this is ABS plastic). 

The user could also repurpose the pen:

1. The Ink Refill is a universal fit, so you could replace this component and the pen can then continue to be used. 
   
2. The Metal Springs can be lightly uncoiled and then repurposed to create cable-protectors (re-wound onto electronics cables to cover/protect the join section where Cable meets Connector)

My Story: Barrel and Trim made from Steel. The pens refill is rated to a writing distance of 1800 meters so the user can hold onto this pen for a long period of time. Item is engraved so no print inks are used in the branding. 

End of Life: An average pen refill will write for around 900-1000m, so we hope with a 1800m rated ink refill this pen will last much longer - but when it does reach its end of life the refill could be replaced by the user, or the pen could be separated (unscrew nose cone) into five (5) components:

1. Barrel (metal and plastic inner) - metals recycling 
2. Ink refill* - placed into normal waste
3. Spring - metals recycling
4. Nose cone - metals recycling
5. Button Link (small white plastic component) - Plastics recycling

*The ink refill for this pen can be replaced by the end user. It is a standard size and is available through various retail channels.

My Story: Prodir now use 50% recycled plastic (ABS) for this pens body. The low-pollutant, lead-free ink refill is compliant with the REACH regulation (1907/2006) and contains no elements on the SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) list or in its annexes. Supplied with a refill that is rated for over 2500m so will keep going for months of use. Produced in Switzerland by Prodir, a hugely reputable manufacturer who are SMETA certified and part of the AIM-Progress group. The factory in Switzerland uses 100% hydropower for all manufacturing. 

End of Life: When this pen reaches an unusable stage, if the user wishes to dispose of the pen they can unscrew the Nose Cone and remove the Metal Spring and Ink Refill. The plastic components can then be placed into standard plastics recycling, the Spring into metals recycling. The Ink Refill would need to go into standard waste. Prodir ink refills are actually available through retail channels, so the user could simply buy further refills and continue using the pen if they choose. Refills are a listed under the Prodir or Premec brand (as well as other generic manufacturers who make compatible sized refills)

Item: Exhibition Tablecloth made from heavyweight, easy-care fabric.

Care Guidance: This cloth is specifically made using an easy-care fabric, in that most spills can be wiped off, and so long as the cloth is folded when not in use (not scrunched) it should remain smooth and free of creases. The fabric is machine washable if needed, at 30 degrees. Use minimal detergent - ideally hand wash if possible. Do not tumble dry but it can be ironed on a low heat to the reverse of the printed side only.

My Story: Small and unique shape tin (made from Tin) that can have a life long after the contents have been consumed. 

"Tin can be infinitely recycled to the same high quality due to its intrinsic properties and economic value. For tin products, the average recycled content can be quantified as the ‘Recycling Input Rate’ (RIR). This measures the percentage contribution of recycled ‘secondary’ tin, both in refined and unrefined forms. My Story: Part of a range of UK made products that are produced using 100% recycled plastics, then with the addition of a biodegradable additive that speeds up the natural biodegradable process of plastic. The material (polymer and additive) has been tested to ISO 15985 and has ASTM B5511 certification. The result is a polymer that breaks down and leaves no micro-plastics.

My Story: Produced in Italy using a PU material for the cover, with internal sheets made from FSC certified paper. The closure band is glued into the notebook and made using rPET (recycled nylon and polyester) as well as Elastane (not currently recyclable). 

End of Life: Once this product has been filled up and is no longer usable, the pages can be recycled easily (paper). The user needs to remove the Cover and Elastic closure band by simply pulling away from the notebooks spine. These would need to be disposed of into normal waste, or could be repurposed by the user.

My Story: This product is manufactured in the UK: both aluminium and cork are created from basic sheet form to reduce the carbon footprint of the supply chain. This item has Zero AirMiles and the factory uses a Carbon Offset Scheme to lower the impact of the UK manufacturing and assembly process. Aluminium is 100% recyclable. Cork is a natural material which is degradable or can easily be repurposed.

End of Life: Should the coaster finish is usable life, the aluminium and cork can be separated (they are just glued together) and the metal can be recycled: Aluminium does not lose its characteristics in the recycling process and can be recycled endlessly. The Cork base can be repurposed (cork floats!) or will biodegrade naturally. Cork will break down without releasing toxins into the environment. It is a highly sustainable and self-regenerative material that does not contribute to deforestation.

My Story: Made from sustainably grown straw which, though not recyclable is naturally biodegradable. Simple but sturdy material, produced to hold its shape without need for chemical treatment at point of manufacture. 

End of Life: Should the hat reach a stage where it is mis-shaped or damaged ,the polyester outer band and inner sweatband can both be pulled loose and recycled (PET). The hat itself could be repurposed or simply disposed of appropriately as it will naturally biodegrade.

My Story: A premium feel metal pen created using recycled aluminium, rPET and stainless steel trim as well as a bamboo plunger. Materials that all lend themselves well to the Sustainable messaging. Aluminium is an easily recycled metal using a relatively low energy process compared to other metals and this pen can again be recycled after use. Bamboo and rPET is used in the small finishing on the pens clip/button section, replacing virgin plastic. The pens refill is rated to a writing distance of 1800 meters so the user can hold onto this pen for a long period of time. Item is engraved so no print inks are used in the branding. 

End of Life: An average pen refill will write for around 900-1000m, so we hope with a 1800m rated ink refill this pen will last much longer - but when it does reach its end of life, the components can be separated out and recycled or repurposed by the user.

• Aluminium - Can be reprocessed multiple times. Recycling aluminium uses only about 5% of the energy required for smelting, making it the metal with the highest recycling energy savings of any major material.

My Story: A functional and lightweight bag produced using an 80gsm REACH compliant fabric that is made from recycled polypropylene. This is an unlaminated material that is recyclable and able to then be made into other polypropylene products (fabrics, sheet materials, containers etc). The bag can be used for a huge range of tasks both in and out of the office or household. It can be washed and repurposed as often as required. 

End of Life: Should this bag no longer find a purpose or becomes damaged and unfixable it can be recycled by simply removing the drawstring cord and placed into clothing or fabric recycling stations. The Cord is made from nylon which though recyclable in nature is not currently accepted in recycling stations in the UK. Both the bag material and the cord could also be repurposed by the user.

My Story: Bamboo is a fast growing plant (actually a Grass!) with the strength and workability specifications of timber. It grows to maturity in 5 years, versus 30 – 120 years for other natural timbers. After a bamboo plant is harvested, four to seven new plants will grow from its roots. No replanting necessary. 

End of Life: The Elastic band should be removed then this item can be recycled or composted. Always check with your local recycling authority before placing your bamboo products in the recycling bin.

My Story: Wax is made from plant based ingredients and product is REACH compliant as well as Directive 2001/95/EC (EU product safety). 

These candles do not contain paraffin. Housed in a sturdy Glass jar, with natural bamboo lid. 

End of Life: Once candle is used up, the jar could be repurposed or even refilled with a new candle. If the unit has been damaged or reached end of life then remove any residual wax (you could heat the jar in an oven at low temperature, to melt the wax then wipe the jar clean once liquid wax is removed) The jar can then be placed into glass recycling. The bamboo lid either composted or will naturally biodegrade.

My Story: Wax is made from plant based ingredients and product is REACH compliant as well as Directive 2001/95/EC (EU product safety). 

These candles do not contain paraffin. Housed in a sturdy Glass jar, with natural bamboo lid. 

End of Life: Once candle is used up, the jar could be repurposed or even refilled with a new candle. If the unit has been damaged or reached end of life then remove any residual wax (you could heat the jar in an oven at low temperature, to melt the wax then wipe the jar clean once liquid wax is removed) The jar can then be placed into glass recycling. The bamboo lid either composted or will naturally biodegrade.

My Story: Barrel of the pencil is made from bamboo (sustainable and biodegradable) which houses the graphite. The ferrule is made from tin plated brass (recyclable). The eraser is synthetic rubber. The concept of this pencil is to be the only pencil you need longterm, as it does not wear down through ongoing usage. 

End of Life: Should this product reach a point where it is no longer usable (snapped etc) the the item the Bamboo and Ferrule + Eraser be separated and all components could then be easily recycled.

My Story: Ceramics do use intense levels of energy in their manufacture (Kilns) however they are produced in large batches so this equates to around 230g of carbon per unit. The finished mug can then be used indefinitely, potentially up to final point of breakage (which would be due to accident rather than material degradation). The mug is machine or hand washable and uses a non-toxic glaze.

The total CO2 life cycle assessment* of this product, per unit, is 1.39kg. This comprises 1108g in Materials and Production, 48g in packaging, 98g in transportation and 128g for End of Life.

By separating the Cork (base) and the Ceramic (body) they can be processed as follows: Cork will break down without releasing toxins into the environment. My Story: Designed as a practical notebook with an additional sturdy, foldable hard cover allowing the added feature of a phone stand. The internal pages are made from recycled paper, the notebook cover from paper and card. The external textured cover is made from rPET, which is Recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate plastic). The recycled material (PET) is taken from plastic bottles reclaimed from landfill. 

End of Life: Once this product has been filled up and is no longer usable, the hard cover, notebook cover and internal pages can all be recycled easily (rPET and paper/card). The user needs to separate the hard cover (rPET plastic) from the notebook cover (card) and internal pages (paper). They also need to remove the Elastic closure band, Pen loop as well as the ribbon marker, by pulling them away from the notebooks spine and edge. These would need to be disposed of into normal waste, or could be repurposed by the user.

My Story: Made in the UK (Packaging and product) using Cocoa beans sourced through and supported by the Cocoa Horizons Foundation. Established in 2015 the Foundations mission is to improve the livelihoods of cocoa farmers and their communities through the promotion of sustainable, entrepreneurial farming, improving productivity and community development. The card boxes are made from sustainably sourced Delipac board - which is fully compostable, food safe, naturally biodegradable, as well as being printer-friendly using the oil-less, food-safe inks that are printed to the packaging. 

End Of Life: Once the contents are consumed the card boxes can be home composted of placed in the a cardboard recycling service.

My Story: Bamboo is a fast growing plant (actually a Grass!) with the strength and workability specifications of timber. It grows to maturity in 5 years, versus 30 – 120 years for other natural timbers. After a bamboo plant is harvested, four to seven new plants will grow from its roots. No replanting necessary.  

End of Life: The small PVC roller covers can be removed and recycled, the bamboo can can be composted or sent to normal home waste processing sites which offer wood handling. Always check with your local recycling authority before placing your bamboo products in the recycling bin.

My Story: Easy to clean, sturdy and built for ongoing use, therefore helping to reduce the use of single use water bottles. Can hold hot or cold liquids and so has a great use for all manner of drinks. Made from 304 Grade stainless steel. Steel is the most recyclable material on earth, by weight. It can continually be recycled while maintaining its strength and core properties. Recycling steel involves remelting the metal in an electric arc furnace or a simple oxygen furnace, and this recycling process accounts for about 40% of the total amount of steel produced globally.  

End of Life: The main bottle/vessel section can be recycled as a metal (stainless steel). The Lid would require the silicone seal to be (easily) removed and placed in general waste. The remaining lid component can then also be recycled (separated as plastic and steel). The Cork base can be separated at point of recycling and will naturally biodegrade.
