My Story: RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) is a standard to verify the recycled content of a product throughout the whole supply chain. Casing (26% by weight) is recycled and recyclable. The total CO2 life cycle assessment* of this product, per unit, is 2.27kg. This comprises 83g in Materials and Production, 5g in packaging, 53g in transportation, 97g for End of Life and 2030g for the Energy use and Electronics components. 
*This LCA assessment covers all GHG-emissions generated by a product throughout its entire life-cycle; from the extraction of raw materials to the end-of-life treatment/disposal. The calculations are based on a carbon footprint (CFP) calculation tool. The methodology is in conformity with the principles of ISO 14067:2018, verified and critically reviewed, in compliance with ISO 14071:2014, by the Bureau Veritas.

End of Life: Being an electronic item with lithium battery component, this product needs to be disassembled and recycled using a professional service. Your local recycling centre will be able to advise further as to options available to you locally.
